Since spring 2007, Masseria Pilano has offered guests the chance to stay in its converted typical 17th-century stables and trullo houses surrounding the farmhouse. The artistic yet sensitive renovation has created several 2- or 3-room apartments with characterful, harmonious and tastefully furnished interiors. All are fully independent, and guests can enjoy all the necessary comforts for a relaxing, healthy break. The elegant apartments look on to the atmospheric inner courtyard and the large “sheep pen” of the old stable block.
The ample, luminous rooms include convenient private bathrooms with shower and electronic hairdryers, a kitchenette and a full breakfast and lunch service. All rooms have underfloor heating and satellite television. The trulli are naturally cool and airy, so there is no need for air conditioning.
Description of the apartments and function areas:
– Accommodation: 4 trullo apartments – 3,570 sq ft in total
– Social and catering area: in the Trullo Sovrano (main trullo) – 430 sq ft
– Outer courtyard: the “sheep pen” – 1,600 sq ft approx.
